  • A minimum of 2–3 pairs of internal thermals are required.

  • It is advisable to wear well-protected boots or trekking shoes during the winter months. In the summer months, any type of sports footwear should be suitable.
  • A minimum of three pairs of woollen socks.
  • Three sets of heavy woollens — sweatshirts, pullovers, cosy hoodies.
  • The best pants for trekking/travelling are comfortable and durable. It is better to carry a couple of jeans (my favourite) during winter.
  • The sun is extremely harsh in this area, so it is important to carry at least 1–2 caps to protect yourself from direct sunlight. Kids should wear caps or hats whenever they are in the sun.
  • During the winter months, it is recommended that you bring at least one Balaclava or monkey cap.
  • Sunglasses provide eye protection from the representations of the snow.
